Getting Young People Into Care

RESET AND REBUILD: THE PRINCE’S TRUST – GETTING YOUNG PEOPLE (18-30) IN TO HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE JOBS.


Join our webinar in partnership with The Prince’s Trust to hear more about their project and how they can work with you to support more young people into the Health and Social Care Sector.The Prince’s Trust Health and Social Care programme is funded by the Department for Health and Social Care and will support 5,000 young people (aged 16-30) to start a new career in the Health and Social Care sector.They work in partnership with over 150 employers all with a variety of exciting job opportunities and support young people to gain employment not only in clinical roles but non-clinical too such as business administration and estates and facilities.

During the webinar we will be exploring the following:

    • Become an Employer Partner – The Princes Trust can help you to recruit a diverse workforce and develop a pipeline of motivated, skilled, local young people into entry-level roles and apprenticeships.

    • Employability support for candidates aged 16-30 – The Princes Trust can provide a range of support to candidates applying for your vacancies, this could include support with an application form, mock interviews/interview techniques and supporting young people who have been unsuccessful with an application/interview for a position at your organisation. All of the above can enhance your offering and improve the calibre of candidates applying for your vacancies.

    • Financial support – The Princes Trust can offer financial support to young people who are offered a job to help with the costs associated with starting work such as DBS costs, travel, clothing, childcare etc.
